Harvest Holistic Community Development Corporation (HHCDC), a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit all volunteer organization, credits Elder Eric Thomas, Pastor of the Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church (Chicago, IL) for its creation. It was Pastor Thomas who had the vision, heart, intelligence and ministry to conceptualize an organization such as HHCDC to partner with civic organizations, community arts programs, educational institutions, healthcare and social service agencies, and local businesses; to train, develop, and mentor, individuals and families in communities surrounding the church.
Harvest Holistic Community Development Corporation (HHCDC) will be the number one source for social service programs for individuals and families who seek to make the Grand Boulevard and Washington Community areas a better place to live for future generations.
HHCDC's mission is to promote the holistic well being of the Grand Boulevard and Washington Park Community areas through education, health awareness, housing and mentoring which ultimately improves conditions for families residing in these areas.
